Ghana’s leading reggae artiste, Stonebwoy, in a recent interview bragged that he paved the way for future Dancehall artistes from Ghana who want to go international.
The VGMA reggae artiste of the year who doubles as a BET winner and a Zylofon Media artiste, Stonebwoy says he has paved the way for other dancehall and reggae artistes who want to go international with the reggae genre.
Speaking on Daybreak Hitz yesterday, the dancehall act said his work has been recognized internationally and as such he believes that he has paved a way for other young artistes. And he did this through his recent Europe and Jamaica tour.
“I am honoured and grateful that I have proved myself worthy of support which brings glory to all Ghanaians and paves way for the future artistes. Especially those who trust that they can do something.” He said.
According to Stonebwoy, his shine will give other Dancehall artistes the hope of pursuing music.
To those who don’t know or know not, the artistes has been vibrant over the last few weeks, he was billed for the international 2018 reggae festival summer jam in Germany and he was the first Ghanaian to be billed for such an event.
The jam took place in Jamaica. Stonebwoy has gained lots of endorsements from Demian Marley, Kabaka Pyramid and Gramps Morgan.
