Bishop Dr Daniel Angel Obinim has been granted Gh¢100,000 bail by the Accra Magistrate Court.
He was granted the bail with three (3) Sureties aside the Gh¢100,000.
He was re-arrested by the Ghana Police Service after he was discharged from the hospital and sent straight to the Accra Magistrate Court.
Obinim was charged on the count of publication of false news and forgery of document contrary to sections 208 and 159 of the Criminal and Other Offenses Act, 1960.
Obinim was first arrested whiles doing routine counseling with some of his church members in Accra after he was reported by Kennedy Agyapong for engaging in illegal practices as well as human sacrifices to be more powerful.
In a press release by the Ghana Police Service, the CID Department had arrested and charged Obinim as well as sent him to the Accra Magistrate Court where he was granted a sum of Gh¢100,000 bail with three sureties, one person justified. The report continues that the Bishop is expected to re-appear in court on June 1 2020.

However, the CID administration department urged the public to disregard the viral video of Obinim’s arrest, saying it is not related to his latest arrest.
