UK’s High Commissioner to Ghana, Iain Walker, has indicated that he will be cycling from Paga (Upper East) to Accra (Greater Accra, capital of Ghana) in August this year to raise money for the Korle Bu Burns & Plastics Unit.

In a tweet he made, Mr. Walker said that he intends to cover an area of 800km in a week.

“In August this year, I plan to cycle from Paga to Accra. Covering 800km in a week, I want to see Ghana from a different perspective & meet people in their own communities. I’m hoping to raise money for Korle Bu Burns & Plastics Unit. Will be seeking ideas as the plan develops!.” He tweeted.

In tweets to support the idea, most Ghanaian celebrities like radio presenter, Abeiku Santana, KMJ and others supported the idea.
