Gone but never forgotten, Ebony still reigns as her father and manager seem to be at war with each other anytime discussions on Ebony are raised.
Money they say is the root of all evil and that is what this whole banter between Ebony’s father, Mr Kwarteng and Bullet is about.
In an interview with Gh One Tv today, Mr Kwarteng presented a document that contains list of artistes who Bullet claims to have paid at the tribute concert. Earlier yesterday, a video on an interview that Mr Opoku Kwarteng had with TV3 went viral on social media, in the said video, he presented a document that called the attention of many and also stated that he is surprised at Bullet’s utterances especially with his press release.
Ebony’s tribute concert was organized weeks after her demise and the artistes who performed claimed they did it out of the love they had for the late singer. It appears that was not the case at all. A document that Ebony’s father presented to both TV3 and GH One Tv proves the artistes were paid by Bullet to perform for the night.
In the said document, which he claims was given to him by the CEO of Rufftown Records, it was captured that Ebony’s Mc Ogee received Ghc500, Keche Ghc 3000, R2Bees Ghc 300, Captain Planet Ghc2000 and others. The expenditure amounts to a grand total of Ghc34,600.
We are yet to hear Bullet’s side of the story as to whether this is a Ghost list or not.
