MTN Ghana in partnership with Afb GHANA launched the “Qwikloan” service to provide convenience to customers in times of need to enhance their business.
The service, dubbed, “Qwikloan” is fast, easy, and convenient which enables customers to access loans using their MTN mobile money platform.
Surprisingly, news popped up earlier this month that, MTN Ghana will be publishing names of customers owing the “Qwikloan” service on newspapers nationwide.
Lots of customers took to social media complaining about the news circulating social media.
MTN Ghana released a Disclaimer on their official social media pages saying, they have no hand in the news circulating and have no intentions to take such actions.
“The attention of MTN Gahna has been drawn to the above message circulating on social media and purported to be coming from the company.
MTN Ghana wishes to state categorically that it is neither the originator nor the publisher of the said message. Customers are to note that the service is run by a third party and the company will look for it’s own ways of engaging defaulting customers individually.”
