Ebony Reigns account can’t be found on YouTube

Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, known by the stage name Ebony Reigns, a Ghanaian dancehall/Afrobeats artist’s YouTube channel can not be found on YouTube.

After Ebony‘s demise, many fans questioned who and what will be done to her heavily followed social media accounts but to be sincere, many did not see the pull down of her YouTube account coming at all.

GhKasa.com decided to speak to some YouTube experts on this issue and we gathered that, her label “Ruff Town Records” has changed the channel name from “Ebony” to Rufftown Midas Touch.

On  norm, if you search for Ebony Reigns on YouTube, two channels appear as the two original channels of the artist but if you search on YouTube as at now what you will see is Rufftown Midas Touch“.

Many have said, Bullet of former Ruff “n” Smooth group who was the manager of Ebony is using Ebony’s resources to fund and grow his new artist Wendy Shay.

Pricilla Opoku-Kwarteng died February 8, 2018 in an accident while returning from Sunyani.. The funeral which was attended by colleagues, fans and sympathizers started with a traditional music and dance performance from the Amamre Ensemble. They performed Akan traditional music and dances, ranging from kete, adowa to fontomfrom.

Many have called Ebony Reigns as the Queen of Music in Africa since she was able to manipulate within a short period to substance her popularity and career in the Entertainment Industry.

Ebony was discovered by musician and entrepreneur Bullet from Ruff n Smooth and was signed to his Ruff Town record label.

She came out with her first single, “Dancefloor“, in December 2015, with a video and audio release. The song became a radio hit, landing her a nomination for the “unsung” category at the 2016 Ghana Music Awards.

In March 2016 Ebony released her major hit single “Kupe”. She was signed to Ruff Town Records and Midas Touch Inc
