Edem Agbana donates medical equipment to health facility

Youth activist and former SRC President of the University of Ghana, Eric Edem Agbana has made a donation to a health facility.

Edem Agbana presented medical equipment, surgical gowns, delivery packs, toiletries, sanitary products among others, to the maternity ward of the St. Anthony’s Hospital in Dzodze.

According to the youth leader, the maternity ward of St. Anthony’s Hospital in Dzodze was where he was born.

He was joined by Ghanaian rapper Edem, who is said to have also been born in this same facility.

Mr. Agbana sent gratitude to the hospital staff, the Assembly members, NDC branch and constituency executives in Ketu North , and members of the community who joined him to make the donation as part of his birthday celebration.

 In other news, the former SRC President of the University of Ghana, Eric Edem Agbana called on the management of the various universities to gracefully extend the deadline for the payment of fees, especially for the freshly admitted students.

According to Mr. Agbana, many parents and students are struggling to raise the fees to meet the tight deadlines hence the plea for the intervention of the Ministry of education and the various stakeholders in giving suffering parents, some more time to gather the needed monies to pay.

He is of the view that times are hard and generally the yuletide period comes with heavy financial burdens.
