Emmanuel Nii Adom Quaye who starred in ‘Beasts of No Nation’, popularly known as Strika from close sources will be receiving mental health care following the recent developments.
Several blogs have reported a post on Facebook, in which Caleb Boye narrated his encounter with Strika today and how he begs on the street.
Boye wrote: “I am sad this morning. I was heading to the Ghana Institute of Journalism campus and I met Striker. You would ask who is Striker? Striker starred in the movie Beast of No Nations. The said film that made Abraham Attah. Today I met him begging for money on the road leading to GIJ. I called him and brought him to campus. Speaking to him he tells me he now works with a gentleman who sells Yam at Agbogbloshie Market. He stays with his grandma at North Kaneshie.”
Well, earlier today Strika was at the premises of GH One Tv, and from what we gather the management of GhOne Tv has offered to collaborate with guardians and managers of Emmanuel Nii Adom Quaye to help the young actor.
The actor’s mental state is now being questioned as recent signs from how he responds and behaves looks threatening.
It has been confirmed that this is not the first time Strika is escaping from school and this is not the first time he is begging on the street.
The situation with the actor compelled his manager and administration of the school to provide the young actor with a personal counselor but all attempts to counsel and put him on the right track proved futile, and that has become a big worry to them.
Currently, a source closer to the management of the actor has revealed how his colleague Actor Abraham Attah has shown concerns with the current state of mind of his friend and colleague. In finding a way to handle the young actor’s situation, it is alleged that he will be receiving mental health care to ensure he is in his right state.
We hope and pray that all goes down well with the young actor.
