The 2019 edition of Empire Entertainment’s Ghana Meets Naija, aimed at promoting unity among Ghanaians and Nigerians and also creating an interactive atmosphere for music fans will come off on June 8 at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
Ghanaian artistes billed to perform include Patapaa, Medikal, R2bees, Kelvin Bwoy, Bless, Tulenkey, AK Songstress, Ras Kuuku, Opanka, Fameye, Narna, J. Derobie and Kofi Mole.
And artistes representing Nigeria are Teni, Wande Coal, Victor AD, Saltan, Moziz and other acts. The concert was launched on Friday, May 3 at the Tang Palace Hotel in Accra and a good number of A-list and new artistes from Ghana and Nigeria were announced as performers on the night.
This year marks the 9th edition of the event which began in 2011 and has been themed: “Clash of the Titans.”
Organizers reveal there will be two two surprise artists from Barbados who would grace the occasion.
This year’s Ghana Meets Naija week starts with a pre party on the 7th, main event on the 8th at the Accra International Conference Centre, after party from 12am and post party Sunday on the 9th to close the weekend.
