Ghana’s movie industry over the past years has hit the turmoil allowing telenovelas to take over our screens which has forced many who once loved our movies to grow intense love for these soap operas.
Fiifi Coleman who is a renowned actor has revealed one major factor that led to the collapse of our movie industry.
The actor told Andy Dosty in an interview on Hitz FM that the collapse of the movie industry is because we lack well trained personnel.
According to the actor cum director, everybody at all picks up a camera to shoot a movie whiles they are not trained.
“Everybody gets up now, I am a director and they are not trained. Everybody gets up now, I am an actor, you are not trained. I have a talent to do something, yes you do have the talent, but are you trained in what you want to do? So this led to everybody setting up so many movie production houses”, he told Andy Dosty.
He added that the contents produced became chaff and that made people lose interest in movies produced in Ghana.
