Gov’t should call artist and engage us – Stonebwoy calls for the betterment of the Creative Arts Industry


Dancehall artist Stonebwoy has called on the Government of Ghana most specifically the Creative Arts Ministry to call on Ghanaian Musicians and talents to engage them on how to put measures in place to promote tourism in Ghana.

Danchall act Stonebwoy in an interview with Andy Dosty revealed that, he believes the Government has to come in and support the industry because the artist are doing things in their own ways to promote Ghana and it’s cultural activities to the world.

Stonebwoy is the only artist in Ghana to be on one of  Jamaica’s reggae and dancehall stage “Sumafest”. Stonebwoy was reported as the dancehall artist from Ghana currently putting Ghana on the map of the world.

“We as artist have made it a mandate to promote Ghana where ever we go. I for instance have taken Ghana and Ashiaman to places and I make it a core mandate to mention these place as where I come from. It’s now left to the Government to come and call artist to engage us to know how we can push the creative arts industry.” Stonebwoy stated 

Stonebwoy TENTATIVELY announces Saturday, October 27 for this year’s “Ashaiman To Da World Concert”.

This would be the 5th time concurrently Stonebwoy has staged the same concert annually at his home grounds, Ashaiman.

The Zylofon Media signed artiste, Stonebwoy, pulled over 40,000 people at the “Ashaiman To Da World Concert” in 2017 at Saka Saka Park, where the event happens annually.
