Celebrated gospel musician, who made waves in Gospel music in the 90s and early 200s said she didn’t even want to be a musician although she had the talent.

During an interview on Hitz FM, the popular gospel musician disclosed that she wanted to be a known fashion designer. She started by saying that she did want to go to school but due to poverty she had to quit school when she had ulcer. She then took to Clothes Sowing where she became very good at the art.

Things were smooth for her for sometime then it took a swift turn and became worse. She explained she was not a born again Christian at the time. It was through these trying times that she got nearer to good and became a born again Christian.

She began working with the likes of Yaw Sarpong and Despite. When her song, “Gye me gye me” was recorded, people really loved it and she knew God wanted to use her for his ministry through songs. She became a full time musician and Despite Productions did her first studio album.

Hannah Marfo is best known for her songs, “Ahoboa Ben na woaye“, “Noah Nana“, “Akristofoo adooso“, “Papa mu o bone mu o”, and several others.

Of late, Hannah Marfo has gone from Radio station to radio station to distress-fully sought help as her teenage daughter who is just 17years has developed a spinal cord disorder and the price tagged to her operation is Ghana Cedis 43,000.
