RudeBoy, one half of the now-defunct successful Nigerian Pop Music group P-Square, has been spotted in a video going viral on social media with the Nigerian star expressing his views on why Nigerian music has gone far than Ghanaian music.

The video shows RudeBoy in the studios of WGHC Radio in Chicago – USA, as he was presumably on the promotion of his solo project, and doing very well with the questions from the host until he was asked to share his opinion on the recent Ghanaian and Nigerian Music Industry.

“Nigerians we’re too sharp. Let me give you example; why am I saying that? Trust me all the sounds we’re are talking about comes from you guys… The kungko sound came from Ghana. But if you’re not sharp enough Niger we’re sharper, we takeover.” RudeBoy mentioned.

Rudeboy also stated that Ghanaian musicians apart from Sarkodie are blockheaded. According to him, Nigerians are smart people who at changing trends as the time passes by.

He noted that although Ghanaian artistes are good at setting trends, they continue to do the same thing without diversifying hence the reason why they are stagnated.

The Nigerian superstar reserved special praise for Sarkodie and called him the best Ghanaian artiste but said that all the others were experiencing irrelevance outside Ghana because Ghanaian artistes and music often follow a trend and stagnates with it while Nigerian music creates a trend, recycles the best from other industries and continues to add value to newer innovations.

It could be remembered that Zylofon Media signed artistes were in Nigeria some months back and were not given the attention they deserved.

This became topical for days because Ghanaians could not fathom why artistes who have won international accolades were not hailed and cheered by Nigerian audience.
