Netflix has shared the first teaser for the final season of its hit crime drama Money Heist. The teaser also reveals the trailer release date of the heist drama.
The makers released the video on Instagram with the words “Checkmate”.
In a 30 second teaser, The Professor is handcuffed, in chains, and at the mercy of inspector Alicia Sierra. The teaser gives no indication of how the Professor ended up in chains. At the end of the clip, it is revealed that there will be a full trailer for the final season on August 2. It is just over a month before the first part of the final season airs on September 3.
Money Heist is also known as La casa de papel, is an immensely popular show. It follows a group of bank robbers led by their mysterious leader called The Professor. They stage the biggest heists in history. Money Heist Season 5 marks the popular Netflix show’s finale. Its first part will release on September 3, while part two will arrive on December 3.
Apart from Álvaro and Najwa, actors Úrsula Corberó, Itziar Ituño , Miguel Herrán, Jaime Lorente , Esther Acebo, Pedro Alonso and others will return to reprise their characters.
The series is created and executive produced by Álex Pina, alongside Jesús Colmenar, Nacho Manubens, Esther Martínez Lobato, and Sonia Martínez.
