Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has revealed a poster announcing his intention to contest as President in the 2023 Nigerian Presidential election.
In a post on Instagram the popular actor said it’s time for the youth to do away with tribalism, trying to bring each other down and stop the hate and take over the country and push it forward.
The actor has since last year been pushing for his ambitious efforts to lead Nigeria as the President.
His father Pete Edochie has thrown his support behind his son saying he is refined to lead the country if given the chance.
Nigeria will to the poll in 2023 after President Buhari is done serving his two consecutive terms as the constitution permits.
With current issues of insecurity, youth unemployment among others ongoing in Nigeria many are those calling for change in leadership.
As to if they will trust someone like Yul to transform the country by his vision is another issue for future discussion.
But the actor is optimistic that nothing is impossible hence his giant step to contest as President.
