Clash of the titans, the long rivalry between Ghana’s up and doing reggae/dancehall acts, Charles Nii Armah Mensah (Shatta Wale) and Livingstone Etse Satekla (Stonebwoy) is not ending anytime soon despite their names being on the same label.
Stonebwoy, in an interview with SVTV has explained why he cannot unite with his colleague Shatta Wale despite being on the same label.
The two have thrown shots at each other, in what seems like a long beef, there have been numerous songs that fans can relate to. There is one song that Shatta’s fans love ‘No Mercy For The Cripple’, that song really got to Livingstone, who replied with ‘Dirty Enemies’ and a feature on Yaa Pono’s hit single ‘Obiaa Wo Ne Master’ gave the Ashaiman god a head-start.
In the interview with SVTV while away on his EOM tour in Switzerland, the dancehall god revealed that he can’t unite with Shatta Wale because his level of thinking is totally different from his.
He gave an example that music lovers can recall which he deems an unwise act from Shatta Wale thus dissing him in a song and accusing him of killing his mother and you can see this really got to the Ashaiman based artiste.
Now hailed as the talisman of Zylofon music, Stonebwoy revealed that Shatta Wale is not wise hence uniting with him will not bring any positive change.
But the good news is there is going to be a collaboration between the two.
