Ghanaian contemporary gospel singer Ohemaa Mercy, known in private life as Mercy Twum-Ampofo has announced she will be building a school soon to give back to society.
The artiste with over ten years’ experience in the music industry made this known on HitzFm with Andy Dosty that, even though she left the classroom as a teacher several years back, she will be putting up a school structure to give back to society.
In 2015, Ohemaa Mercy told Abrantepa on Radio Univers that she has plans to establish a school in the Eastern Regional capital, Koforidua.
Speaking about the 2019 edition of her Tehillah Experience which comes off on August 11, 2019 at the ICGC, Calvary Temple, Spintex Road, Ohemaa Mercy asked all to join her sing songs of worship to God.
Artist like Elder Mireku, Joe Mettle, Diana Hamilton and others will be at the ICGC, Calvary Temple to bless more souls. Other foreign artistes who will grace the occasion include South Africa’s Lebo Sekaobela and Minister Michael Mahendere from Zimbabwe.
Tehillah Experience 2019, which is open free for patrons, is being sponsored by Vodafone Ghana Limited, Upswing Music and ICGC Calvary Temple.
