Musician Stephen Fiawoo popularly known as Praye Tiatia has defended the fact that Ghanaian artists can not fill up O2 Arena.

In a recent publication on a news portal, it was stated that UK-based Ghanaian businessman and boss of Alordia Promotions Nii Ofori Tackie known as Alordia has said it will be very difficult for 20 Ghanaian musicians put together to fill up the O2 Arena.

This statement followed up a whole lot of conversations where top industry players shared their opinions as to if Alordia was right or wrong.

In the comment sections, Praye Tiatia stated that the dancehall act, CEO of the new driving app in Ghana “Shaxi”, Shatta Wale has filled up the Accra Sports Stadium not once so he doesn’t believe it will be difficult for Ghanaian acts to fill up the o2 Arena.

He went ahead to differentiate between the sitting capacity of O2 Arena and the Accra Sports Stadium.

O2 is 20k capacity, accra sports stadium is 40k capacity. Shatta filled it more than once. In plain terms, Ghanaians living in UK don’t really patronise our events.” he stated.

This whole conversation came after Nigerian musician, Wizkid went all out and sold his ‘Made In Lagos’ concert at O2 Arena as the event venue was fully packed with music lovers and fans in all the three days he put up for the concert.

Alordia who organizes the Ghana Music Awards UK spoke to Akwasi Aboagye on Peace FM in an interview via telephone stating that “even 20 musicians from Ghana put together can’t fill up half the capacity of O2 Arena which takes 20,000 people”.
