The FANYASY DOME was filled with over 19,270 people who enjoyed live performances from the dancehall King, Shatta Wale, but others questioned why his colleagues and rivals in the dancehall/reggae fraternity, Samini and Stonebwoy failed to show up.
It is was shocking to many for not seeing father and son(Samini and Stonebwoy) at Shatta Wale’s reign album launch which came off last Saturday at the Dome. It was almost concluded by most spectators and fans that the two are indeed envious of the SM boss’ success.
The questions on the minds of many has been answered by a single tweet from Samini, who has come out to clear the air on why himself and Stonebwoy never appeared on that stage. One would recall that Saminifest, a concert organized by Samini was once graced by Shatta Wale as a surprise act, and it was all for the love. Again, Stonebwoy’s Ashaiman to the world concert saw Shatta Wale also on stage as the guest artiste as expected and predicted by many, after the SM boss had openly confirmed that he was going to be present.
What is wrong with one returning a favour done? Well, to Shatta Wale, the Reign Album Launch, which is his first major concert as a Zylofon Artiste was all about him and no one was going to be allowed to steal the shine.
Samini, who felt awkward about Shatta denying them the honor questioned what the SM boss always preaches ‘Support your own’, if that was indeed real on his side.
In a tweet sighted by Ghkasa.com, the multiple award winning dancehall artiste congratulated the SM boss, he wrote;
“Congrats @shattawalegh on your album launch.just like you once wanted to surprise me on saminifest stage and I let you, I’d wanted to do the same but I waited in the car together with @stonebwoyb for over an hour only to be told you refused the gesture.
