Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie, who was likely to be one of the headline artistes for Shatta Wale’s reign album launch will not be at the official album launch.
A source close to Ghkasa.com has hinted that Ghana’s sensational rapper, Sarkodie will not attend the event as a billed artiste.
According to sources, Shatta Wale’s interview with Hitz Fm seems to have done more harm than good to himself and his colleagues in the industry.
The dancehall artiste revealed that everything that is going to happen between himself and Sarkodie henceforth is going to be strictly business since the rapper didn’t respect him when he had nothing. According to Shatta, Sarkodie denied him the opportunity when he needed it the most at a time where he was pushing the rapper to shoot a video for their hit song ‘Megye wo girl’.
This revelation and allegation by the Shatta has gone to the extent of seeing Sarkodie off the bill for the reign album launch which will come off on 13th October. In his interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz Fm last Tuesday, the dancehall artiste named Sarkodie as one of the artistes his fans are likely to see at the Fantasy Dome, but his utterances during the interview has brought our expectations to a halt.
It appears the relationship between the two isn’t as good as it used to be.
We are waiting for Sarkodie to confirm though, but as it stands news from Shatta’s camp indicates the rapper will not be billed to perform at the Reign Album Launch Concert.
