Every artiste would love to give his fans what they yearn for and Shatta Wale has plans of giving his fans the best out of his ‘Reign Album’ and that will be from the launch of the album.
People have always wondered when Shatta Wale is going mount a stage in his name and put Samini, Stonebwoy and his ‘enemy’ Yaa Pono on the bill.
Shatta has answered this mind boggling question with business.
In the most talked about interview of the week, which was held on Daybreak Hitz today, as Andy Dosty hosted Charles Nii Armah Mensah, aka Shatta Wale, the dancehall artiste is will be releasing his first album as a Zylofon Music artiste described how his album launch is going to look like.
He hinted that the launch will come off at the Fantasy Dom inside Accra. But one would ask which artistes will be on the bill, with people wanting to see more from the Militants and their ‘Daddy’, Shatta who is more concerned about the business side of the industry made a shocking revelation to fans.
“We are trying to put a couple of artistes, my colleagues in the industry are going to be there especially all those that I have talked about (Sarkodie and Stonebwoy)”
“I am trying to see if we can get Samini on the bill, I don’t want to forget that guy; he helped me with the fight. If anybody wont invite him I will try and invite him with all the respect, he is a great artiste. We all love him, and I like his vibe just as he likes mine. If I will invite and pay him something small because our royalties are not that much”, he told Andy Dosty.
He was asked if he was going to invite Yaa Pono, who dissed Shatta Wale to the core with ‘Gbee Naabu’.
“I will invite him. I am trying to create a peaceful arena for me and my colleagues. If Yaa Pono understands the business I am talking about. He should understand that I respect him”, he answered.
He added that he would love it if Yaa Pono performed ‘Gbee Naabu’ at the album launch.
The Reign album is going to be the third album after Redial, and After The Storm; ever since he rebranded from Bandana to Shatta Wale but will be his first for Zylofon Music. Shatta is expecting over 90,000 people at his album launch which will be the first time an audience attending an event has filled the Dom.
The Album will be out on 13th October.
