Guru has stated that, he has not released any song particularly to throw shades at anyone. He revealed that, the song “Some Way” which features rapper Sarkodie is not a diss song.

Celebrated Hiplife/Hip-pop artiste Guru has released his fourth album titled ‘Journey Of Judah’. Barely 24 hours since the popular musician noted for multiple hit singles Guru released his second album Journey of Judah, one of the 35 songs on the album seem to be disturbing to many especially from the camp of Shatta Wale.

This became a toast of people but a number of social media commentators believe the line in Guru’s rap seem to take a shot at Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta hence generating the conversation online.

“Obaa biara me b3 p33 wo back in the days w’ante m’ase biara w’ano bagayaa s3 Shatta…”

Reacting to the issue, Guru said he has not recorded a song to diss anyone for a long time and so what is circulating social media is false.

“The last time I trowed shades at people was Kaseibo. And when I did that, for the past 10 years it has brought some PhD into my life. So when the news came out that I insulted him I don’t think it’s true”. We need somebody like Shatta and all other people in the industry, because the industry is all about strategy”

Guru has also stated that, he does not blame Shatta Wale over how he reacts to issues people use against you.

Guru in an interview revealed the media houses promote a lot of negativeness and it seem good for everyone and so dancehall artist Shatta Wale seem to be enjoying it and using it to help his brand even though it is negative.

Hiplife/Hip-pop artiste Guru has released his fourth album titled ‘Journey Of Judah’.

Guru who gained prominence in the music industry after featuring on legendary Hiplife artiste Obrafour’s ‘Kasiebo” hit song in 2008, released his first album titled Democracy— which has great songs like ‘MMa Kuo,I do ft Wutah and Democracy in 2011.

He then released his second album, Platform —which has super-hit songs like Lapaz Toyota,Nkwadaa Nkwadaa and Karoake in 2013.

The azonto revolution front-runner then released his third album ;Boys Abre which also has songs like Mpaebo,Alkayida,Pooley,and Pooley Swag in 2014.

Deliberating on his fourth album , Guru describes the 35 track album as a ‘Great’ album, with features from Sarkodie , Medikal , Shaker , Harrysongs , K.K Fosu among others.
