51-year-old UK-based songstress, Stephanie Benson has disclosed that she does not attend church as many Ghanaians do on Saturdays and Sundays and her reason is tangible to herself and others who agree with her.
It is arguably perceived most often by majority of the Ghanaian society that once you don’t go to church on Saturday or Sunday or belong to any religious dispensation, you are a client of the devil.
Stephanie Benson who was the guest on the latest edition of “Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix” opened up that even though she believes in the God Almighty but she isn’t a Christian.
The UK-based Ghanaian international singer told Zionfelix, the show host that she would not attend church to allow a priest preach to her on how she should live her life as a human being because she believes in only what God says.
The singer, Stephanie Benson is of the view that men of God have different interpretations of the Bible and that it would be better and profitable for her to sit in the house and read the Bible herself to avoid being deceived by any man of God.
She further noted that most Ghanaians are mostly seen churches do not practice what they are told at the Holy place. Stephanie Benson on the program also opined that Christians after acting all Holy at church would return home to fight their neighbor which she finds it worrying.
