Hiphop artiste, Kwesi Arthur’s nomination for the 2018 edition of Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards, has triggered a massive campaign on social media.
The “Grind Day” hit rapper became the only Ghanaian to receive a nomination at this year’s awards. He has been nominated in the ‘Viewers’ Choice: Best New International Act’ category.
Kwesi Arthur, whose song ‘Grind Day’ won ‘Hip Pop Song of the Year’ at the 2018 Ghana Music Awards, becomes the second Ghanaian to be nominated for that category.
Kwesi Arthur has been spotted with most Super Stars like one time hitmaker Micheal Dapah and Nigerian artist Davido taking pictures together. Also spotted were, Nana Appiah Mensah and Becca at a small private party held yesterday in the evening.

The 18th annual BET Awards, where African Americans and other American minorities are honoured for their work in acting, music and entertainment, will happen this Sunday June 24.

The BET Awards are named after the Black Entertainment Television network and have been broadcast live on television since 2001.
This year, Bruno Mars will open the show. The currently announced performers include Nicki Minaj, Migos, Meek Mill, Ella Mai, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Miguel, Daniel Caesar, H.E.R., YG, Jay Rock Janelle Monae, Yolanda Adams and SiR.
