Head of Artists and Repertoire at Zylofon Music, Bulldog, known in real life as Nana Asiamah Hanson has made a shocking revelation about how he went to length of shooting a video at the cemetery for his artiste, Iwan, when he was the artiste’s manager.
Iwan and Bulldog have been at loggerheads ever since the artiste parted ways with Bullhaus Entertainment in 2011, but the two were recently in the news after reports on several online portals indicated that the reggae/dancehall artiste, Iwan had rained curses on his former manager on twitter.
Bulldog noted that while he has had issues with Iwan in the past, he has forgiven him. Iwan on the other hand revoked the curse on radio in an interview with Lexis Bill, host of Drive Time on Joy Fm.
“I want to tell him that he is not cursed. God is my friend and God has not cursed him,” he said as he revoked the curse in the interview on Drive Time on Joy FM.
Speaking on the issue in an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM with Andy Dosty on Tuesday, Bulldog, born Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, said “I’m cool with Iwan” and “you cannot sabotage anybody you are in good terms with.”
He stressed that the ‘Thanks and Praise’ hit singer is “good” and “I wish Iwan well…I bless him. I will never curse him.”
The artiste manager further revealed some of the sacrifices he had to make for Iwan back in the days while he was his manager.
Bulldog hinted that it got to a time that he had to break bounds for his artiste to blow hence at a time when his wife was pregnant, himself and his family had to go through thick and thin to shoot a music video at the Osu Cemetery for Iwan.
“My wife was pregnant and we were at the Osu cemetery.. my mum doesn’t joke with Christianity, when i told her we wanted to go and shoot at the cemetery, she said no.”
“We were shooting a video. My whole team and everybody was there”, Bulldog told Andy Dosty.
He further stated that though his mother didn’t buy into his idea, he pushed for the video to be shot at the cemetery, which demanded that he performs some sacrifices before using the place for whatever he wanted to use it for.
“We went to ask and they said we have to buy some schnapps, we did everything before going in there. We were there from 8 in the evening till the wee hours of the next morning 4am. And i am thankful and grateful to God. My wife was pregnant with my first born at the time there…My wife was there with her pregnancy, she brought food to us in the cemetery”, he revealed.
Well, the video in question is Iwan’s ‘Give thanks and Praise‘, which has been one of the best to have ever come from Iwan, and the video was directed by Bulldog.
