Suspension of MTN Zone Bundle explained by MTN Ghana – Read

According to a press release issued on Wednesday, April 12, MTN Ghana, a division of Scancom PLC, has terminated its MTN Zone bundle as of April 5.

The cell network issued an apology to its users for keeping the discussion on the subject to channels for service activation only.

The innovative Data Zone bundle has been suspended as a result of a review of the bundle’s terms and conditions in accordance with the Significant Market Power (SMP) directives that MTN Ghana was subjected to in June 2020 and which state that no offer in the market may have a lower price than another.

In order to reach agreement on a revised Data Zone bundle that will be reintroduced as soon as possible, MTN Ghana is now interacting and working with the regulator. Customers will be informed of any future developments as they happen.

The Data Zone bundle is a new product from MTN Ghana that offer subscribers a subscription with a one-day validity bundle at a discounted rate at the point of purchase.

Customers were informed by MTN Ghana that it would keep releasing cutting-edge and reasonably priced goods and services for their advantage.
