Why Taylor Swift and Matty Healy broke up – Read
Taylor Swift and Matty Healy’s love story has come to an end.
“They are both extremely busy and realized they’re not really compatible with each other,” an insider told Entertainment Tonight on Monday.
“Taylor’s friends want what’s best for her and aren’t shocked that their relationship fizzled out since she recently got out of a long-term relationship,” they added, referencing the “All Too Well” singer’s split from Joe Alwyn in April.
Just hours earlier, a friend with direct knowledge of the matter told TMZ that Swift is once again “single” – one month after she and the frontman of The 1975 made their romance public.
Despite Swift’s recent declaration that she has “never been this happy” in the midst of the blossoming romance, her fans weren’t as enthused by her most recent beau.

Swift’s ardent followers, known as Swifties, criticized her for dating the rocker, 34, after he made racist comments about Ice Spice.
They even started a campaign called #SpeakUpNow to encourage Swift to address his past of divisive remarks.
“Use your platform responsibly and intentionally,” the letter read. “Advocate for inclusivity, celebrate diversity and promote empathy and understanding.”
Although Swift has yet to respond to her fans plea, Healy dismissed the backlash as nothing but virtue signaling.
The “Somebody Else” singer was photographed at Swift’s Eras Tour in Nashville in the early days of May, which fuelled romance speculations between the Grammy winner and Healy.

The two were frequently spotted together in New York City between performances, where Swift might be working on new music.
The couple was also seen “cuddling and kissing” at Casa Cipriani, as Page Six previously reported.
The affair was announced just one month after Swift revealed she had ended her six-year relationship with Alwyn.
Alwyn apparently felt “slighted” and “distraught” that she moved on so soon, despite the fact that sources at the time assured us that there was no animosity between the ex-couples.
Swift does, however, imply that Alwyn didn’t want to advance their relationship in “You’re Losing Me,” a new music from her vault.
In the song, the singer suggests that the English actor, 32, did not want to marry her, which lead their love to fizzle out.
“I wouldn’t marry me either. A pathological people pleaser. Who only wanted you to see her,” she sings in the powerful bridge.
Yet amid all of the drama, Alwyn — who prefers to stay out of the spotlight — is reportedly “doing his best to keep busy and focus on himself.”
