40 and Pregnant: Mzbel rocks in ‘crop top’ showing her tummy
As Ghanaian singer Mzbel has joined the trend, it appears that more celebrities are copying Rihanna’s risky maternity appearances.
One may remember that during her first pregnancy, Rihanna did not conceal her baby belly, delivering a message about, among other things, self-love and body confidence.
Since she made her pregnancy public in January 2021, the American-Barbados artist has continued to make headlines.
Her distinctive rule-breaking style has drawn a lot of attention, especially when combined with her unabashed pregnancy belly.
However, Mzbel, who is quite pregnant, has started a “baby bump flaunting spree” ever since she announced that she is expecting, taking inspiration from this.
She has been seen on Instagram a few times with a baby bump while announcing her desire to look like Rihanna.
The most recent one involved her being seen in a viral video dressed for a prenatal appointment in a pair of pants and a crop top that exposed her growing baby belly.
“I am going to the clinic, looking all flashy like Rihanna. At first, I would’ve covered my stomach but now I don’t have to. I will walk around town with my belly all over the place, if Rihanna can do it, then I can,” she stated.
