Adam Sandler Celebrates 20 Years of Marriage with Jackie: A Love Story That Started on the Big Screen”
Adam Sandler and his wife, Jackie Titone Sandler, recently celebrated a remarkable milestone in their relationship, reaching 20 years of marriage.
Adam took to Instagram to express his love and appreciation for Jackie, describing her “I do” as the greatest gift of his life.
From the moment he first laid eyes on her, his heart belonged to her, and with each passing day, he grows to love and cherish her devoted soul even more.
Together, they have built a beautiful life with their children and are excited to continue their journey side by side, overflowing with love.
The couple tied the knot on June 22, 2003, at Dick Clark’s breathtaking oceanfront estate in Malibu, California.

At the time, Adam, now 56 years old, was already known for his roles in “Happy Gilmore” and “The Wedding Singer,” while Jackie, now 48, was a model-actress who had caught Adam’s attention a few years earlier on the set of his hit movie “Big Daddy.” In the film, she portrayed a waitress at a local sports bar.
For their special day, Adam traded his signature sweats for an elegant tuxedo, complete with a white rose pinned to his lapel. Jackie looked stunning in a spaghetti strap dress. Even their beloved bulldog, Meatball, was dressed to impress, donning a custom suit and a yarmulke for the Jewish ceremony. Meatball held the honorable role of ring bearer, proudly walking down the aisle. Unfortunately, Meatball passed away the following year, and Adam held a shiva to mourn his beloved pet.

Back then, announcements were made on Adam’s website since social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram had not gained prominence. The wedding news was shared with a playful message on the website: “Adam got married… WOOPITY DOO!”
Among the notable guests in attendance were Jennifer Aniston, Jack Nicholson, Rodney Dangerfield, Rob Schneider, and Sharon Osbourne. Adam later revealed that the late Tom Petty had crashed the wedding unintentionally. Tom had been involved in a car accident on the nearby Pacific Coast Highway and sought assistance at the wedding venue. This unexpected occurrence left Adam’s childhood friends from New Hampshire in disbelief, exclaiming, “Tom Petty at Sandler’s wedding? What the hell is happening?”
While Tom Petty did not perform, the renowned singer and guitarist Leon Redbone did. This choice had a sentimental significance as Leon was a favorite of Adam’s father, Stan, who was battling cancer at the time. As a thank you to his father, who had promised to attend the wedding despite his illness, Adam arranged for Leon Redbone to provide special entertainment.
During the reception, Adam, known for his humorous songs, had Leon Redbone perform, and he also entertained the guests with his own rendition of “The House of the Rising Sun.” Additionally, Adam had prepared a special song for Jackie, performed to the melody of “I Wanna Grow Old With You” from his movie “The Wedding Singer.”

As a wedding gift, Jackie surprised Adam with a bulldog puppy named Matzoball.
Throughout the years, Jackie has been involved in almost all of Adam’s film projects. Her presence is felt, as she likely contributes to the development of characters, such as when she portrayed the “Great Looking Flight Attendant” in the 2019 film “Murder Mystery.”
However, Jackie also pursues her own ventures, recently appearing in movies alongside family friend Rob Schneider, who played a significant role in her career by providing her an early break in “Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo.”
