John Dumelo’s Wife, Gifty Mawunya Nkornu called to the Ghana Bar as a lawyer
Ghanaian actor and politician John Dumelo celebrated his wife, Gifty Mawunya Nkornu after she was called to the Ghana Bar as a lawyer.
According to reports, Gifty Mawunya Nkornu is a lawyer who was based in the United Kingdom and moved to Ghana when she got married to John Dumelo
In a post on his social media pages, actor John Dumelo congratulated Gifty Nkornu by posting a picture of her in her gown and her wig.
“Congratulations my love @missgeeonly for being called to the Ghana Bar today. You are now Mrs Gifty Mawunya Dumelo Esq. I have cases for you already lol. Love you.”
The actor-cum-politician is happily married to Gift Marunya Nkornu and together they have two children.
The lawyer acquired her first degree from Central University, which is cited as the largest private university in Ghana. She then acquired a law degree from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) in 2016. Sources have revealed that Gifty is the sister to actress Selassie Ibrahim, who is also the head of Smarttys Management.
The union of John Dumelo and Gifty Nkornu would have been considered a marriage of two high-borns in the Middle Ages. John Dumelo would be a good choice for the character of the prince of the NDC kingdom who falls in love with Gifty, the princess of the NDC who has been imprisoned in an ivory tower waiting for a prince to prove his worth by slaying the dragon (or elephant, as the case may be).
Gifty and the Mahamas have a long history together, even to the point of occasionally babysitting Farida Mahama. She was there when H.E. John Mahama hosted an exclusive birthday celebration.
