In 17 games, including three starts, the 30-year-old NFL player who was just signed by the New York Jets recorded a career-high 5 1/2 sacks.
He was selected by Seattle in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft out of Maryland, and throughout the course of five seasons, he spent three stints with the Seahawks, including the most recent one.
He has also played with the Buffalo Bills (2020), Las Vegas, and the Los Angeles Rams (2017). (2021).
Throughout his seven NFL seasons, Jefferson has recorded 48 starts and 20 1/2 sacks in 89 games.
Moreover, he has 24 tackles for loss, 64 quarterback hits, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and three fumbles.
