Woelinam Dogbe appointed Deputy Director-General of SSNIT

H.E President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Woelinam Dogbe as the Deputy Director-General in charge of Investment and Development (IDD) at the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT).

With over 18 years of experience in banking, management consulting, and business leadership, Woelinam brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role. His career has seen him hold key positions at Standard Chartered Bank, Fidelity Bank Ghana, and Bayport S&L. He has also contributed his expertise as a board member for Agave Rural Bank PLC and Woezor Group Limited.

Before this appointment, Woelinam was the Chief Operating Officer of Woezor Group and the Managing Consultant at Plankton Partners Limited, where he provided strategic advisory services to businesses across different industries. His deep understanding of financial systems and investment strategies makes him a strong fit for the SSNIT position.

Woelinam is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Ghana, and an International Finance Corporation (IFC)-certified Environmental and Social Risk Management Consultant. His educational background includes secondary education at Achimota School, a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Ghana, Legon, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Bradford, UK.

As he steps into this leadership role at SSNIT, all eyes will be on Woelinam Dogbe to see how his expertise shapes the institution’s investment and development strategies.
