Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson sued after his dog attacked a masseur

After it was claimed that his dog attacked a masseuse at his home in 2020, Arsenal player Reiss Nelson is now being charged with a crime.

The attacker is a  fringe player of the current Arsenal squad, which has a good chance of winning the Premier League at the end of the season.

According to The Daily Mail, he was sued after the dog attack injured the masseuse, and in October of last year, he entered a not-guilty plea.

Although he was given bail, the case is set to resume in court in September. According to the newspaper, he is accused of “keeping a dog under control that injured people while being dangerously out of control.”

The shocking revelation comes while Mikel Arteta’s team leads the Premier League standings and is probably going to be seen as an unwanted distraction.

The winger has made 11 appearances so far this season and has contributed three assists and three goals, including a thrilling 97th-minute winner against Bournemouth last month.

At the north London club, which he joined when he was nine years old and where he has since made 59 appearances, he is in negotiations for a new deal.

On Sunday, Arsenal will play Liverpool. Arsenal leads the Premier League by eight points. We asked an Arsenal spokeswoman and Nelson’s agent for their thoughts.

Reiss Nelson’s contract with Arsenal expires at the end of the current campaign, and he has been linked to a summer transfer away from the club.

Arsenal reportedly wants to sign Reiss Nelson to a new, long-term contract, according to sources from Fichajes.
Yet, teams like Aston Villa are looking to acquire the 23-year-old forward for nothing.

This year, Nelson has played for Arsenal’s squad rather than as a consistent starter. It is unknown if the gifted young winger is pleased with his position as a squad member. He will want to play every week.

Despite only playing 103 minutes this season, the 23-year-old has three goals and two assists to his name in the Premier League.

Nelson is incredibly gifted and has a bright future ahead of him. Nevertheless, at this point in his career, he needs to play frequently in order to continue growing and reaching his full potential.

An exit from the north London team might be best for the player’s development. According to recent sources, Arsenal wants to sign him into a long-term contract.
