BEDC Flags off Customer Service Week, Give out Free 20 Prepaid Metres to Customer
Yesterday, the Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC) kicked off the week of customer service by giving away 20 free prepaid meters to consumers who had complaints about projected bills.
The program is one of many events planned by the distribution company to mark this year’s Customer Day, a global event geared to recognize the importance of customers in any trade activity, according to Dr. Henry Ajagbawa, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of BEDC, who revealed this during the flag off yesterday.
In his remarks, Ajagbawa, who was represented by Dr. Obinna Obi, Head of BEDC’s Human Capital Management, said, “In our organization, we recognize the value of consumers and we cannot go less to respect them.
The BEDC Head of Customer Care Service Department, Mrs. Imoghome Umakhihie, had earlier stated that a goal of the program was to recognize the efforts of the team and show gratitude for the clients who are crucial to everything the business accomplishes.
We are aware that one will work harder as time passes to satisfy customers’ expectations, Umakhihie remarked.
Today, 200 consumers received service. We are moving quickly to install those meters today in order to distribute 20 meters to the first 20 customers who have estimated billing concerns today.
